Health caravan
The Olive Branch Network for Development Associations organized a comprehensive health caravan for underprivileged families with eye conditions in the Tataouine region, under the slogan “The Eye Caravan,” as part of its ongoing efforts to support the state’s initiatives and assist the most vulnerable groups.
The caravan took place on January 26th and 27th, 2026, at the regional hospital in Tataouine. Twenty-six patients benefited from this medical caravan, which offered them and their families renewed hope. This noble humanitarian initiative provided them and their families with eye problems requiring immediate treatment. The caravan witnessed a large turnout from underprivileged families suffering from vision-related health issues.
The network noted that this initiative was warmly received by the beneficiaries, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for such humanitarian initiatives, which reflect the spirit of community solidarity.
At the conclusion of the caravan’s activities, the network affirmed its commitment to continuing to organize such medical and awareness campaigns, aiming to provide ongoing support to priority groups within the community and strive to improve their quality of life. This initiative is funded and supported by the “Thimar Al-Khair” Association in the sisterly State of Kuwait.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to them for their continued support.
The network also expresses its deep gratitude to all the medical and paramedical staff at the Regional Health Directorate in Tataouine, especially the Regional Director of Health, Dr. Omar Bouaoun.
Furthermore, the network is pleased to extend its sincere thanks and respect to Mr. Amir Al-Qabsi, the Governor of the region.
We wish them continued success and guidance in their duties and further progress and advancement.
