The Olive Branch Network for Development Associations organized an integrated health caravan for eye patients from impoverished families in the Tataouine region, under the slogan “Eye Caravan,” as part of its ongoing efforts to support the state’s efforts and assist the most needy groups.
The medical caravan was held on January 26 and 27, 2026, at the regional hospital in Tataouine, and benefited 26 patients. This noble humanitarian initiative offered new hope to them and their families, as they were suffering from eye problems and needed immediate treatment. The caravan witnessed a large turnout from underprivileged families suffering from vision-related health problems.
The network noted that this initiative was widely welcomed by the beneficiaries, who expressed their thanks and appreciation for such humanitarian initiatives, which reflect the spirit of community solidarity.
At the conclusion of the caravan’s activities, the network affirmed its commitment to continuing to organize such medical and awareness campaigns, with the aim of providing ongoing support to priority groups in society and striving to improve their quality of life. This is funded and supported by the “Thimar Al-Khair” Association in the sisterly State of Kuwait.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to her for her continued support.
The network also extends its sincere thanks and gratitude to all the medical and paramedical staff in the Regional Health Directorate in Tataouine, headed by the Regional Director of Health, Dr. Omar Bouaoun.
The network is also pleased to extend its sincere thanks and respect to Mr. Amir Al-Qabsi, the governor of the region.
Wishing them continued success and guidance in their tasks, and further success and progress.
