Implementation of several development projects for the benefit of rural women in the Kasserine and Siliana regions:

In support of the state’s efforts and its pursuit of sustainable livelihoods for impoverished families, those with limited incomes, and widows, and within its development and integration projects, the Ghosn Al-Zaytoun Network of Development Associations in Sfax continues, as always and with all its resources, to assist and improve the living conditions of low-income families in rural areas and less developed regions of Tunisia. It strives to launch a range of development projects in these remote areas for the benefit of rural women. Last month, ten sheep-breeding projects and ten traditional food production projects were delivered to productive rural women in the Al-Ayoun district of Kasserine Governorate. In addition, twenty goat-breeding projects were distributed to rural women in the Al-Rouhia district of Siliana Governorate. These diverse development and integration projects were studied and implemented under the supervision of the Ghosn Al-Zaytoun Network of Development Associations in Sfax, with support and funding from the International Islamic Charitable Organization in the sisterly State of Kuwait. Despite their needs, poverty, and harsh conditions, our efforts to assist them and stand by their side continue unabated.
