On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, seven livelihood resources were distributed to young 'sailors' in the Sfax region, under the supervision of the local and regional authorities and the social affairs department in the region. This important economic event was attended by Ms. Mu'tamadah Al-Mahras, acting on behalf of the delegation of Tina, the mayors of both Tina and Qarqur, and the representative of social affairs in the delegation of Aqarib. These development projects benefited five people from Tina and two from Aqareb. These development projects fall within the framework of continuing to support the state's efforts and further promoting economic empowerment, which aims to increase individuals' ability to control their lives and achieve their goals by providing them with livelihood opportunities. The process of economic empowerment for these beneficiaries is represented by increasing their capacity and control over basic economic and financial resources, which helps them to move from a lower economy to a higher economic power, and thus gives them financial independence, in the first place. It is supported and funded by the Kuwaiti Al-Najat Charitable Society, whose contribution to most of our development projects is almost always present in our minds.
