Construction and Development Project for Three Mountain Springs in the Siliana Region

In support of the State’s efforts and with the aim of addressing the shortage of safe drinking water in rural areas, as well as mitigating the impacts of insufficient rainfall and the unprecedented drought, the Olive Branch Network of Development Associations in Sfax recently completed the construction and development of three mountain springs. These springs were transformed into safe drinking water points serving rural communities in the delegations of Makthar and Rouhia, in the Governorate of Siliana.

This project was carried out in cooperation and coordination with the services of the Regional Commissariat for Agricultural Development and Fisheries, under the supervision of the Governor of Siliana and the relevant regional supervisory authorities.

This noble humanitarian project is funded and supported by the Kuwaiti Association for Civilizational Communication in the sisterly State of Kuwait and implemented by the Olive Branch Network of Development Associations in Sfax. The project is part of the Network’s social development initiatives and reflects its commitment to humanitarian and sustainable development efforts.

We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who supported us, particularly the regional and local authorities in Siliana, whose assistance and cooperation made it possible to carry out this project. This initiative represents an essential source of life for the residents of these areas, which had previously been deprived of access to safe drinking water.
