Construction work has begun on a fourth-category primary health center in Sidi Sahel, Talla delegation

In support of the State’s ongoing efforts and to foster economic empowerment, and within the framework of advancing the health sector and supporting public hospitals and healthcare institutions—with the aim of alleviating the pressure upon them.

In an effort to bring health services closer to citizens—particularly in rural areas—the Olive Branch Network for Development Associations in Sfax recently began constructing a “Class IV” primary health center in the Sidi Souhail area, located in the Thala Delegation of Kasserine Governorate.

This project is supported and funded by the General Secretariat of Awqaf in the State of Kuwait, under the supervision of the Kuwaiti Relief and Development Society, and implemented by the Olive Branch Network for Development Associations in Sfax.

Mr. Hatem Ayadi, Head of the Network, accompanied by Mr. Mourad Mbareki, Project Manager, conducted a field visit to inspect the progress of the work. Also present at the visit were Mr. Jawhar Chaabani, the Delegate of Thala; the Secretary-General of the Thala Municipality; the local Mayor; and the local council member representing the Ain Jedida area.

This field visit, which took place on Monday, December 16, 2024, falls within the framework of monitoring the construction progress of the Type 4 basic health center in Sidi Souhail, Thala Delegation.

At the conclusion of this visit, those overseeing and implementing this noble health and humanitarian project emphasized the need to expedite its handover to the beneficiaries as soon as possible, enabling citizens to access quality health services.
