The Olive Branch Network signed a partnership agreement with the Regional Health Delegation in Kasserine to strengthen cooperation in the health sector

As part of supporting the state’s efforts and strengthening cooperation to advance the health sector at the regional level, the “Olive Branch Network of Development Associations” signed a cooperation and partnership agreement on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, with the Regional Health Delegation in Kasserine.

This took place in the presence of Dr. Abdelghani Chaabani, Regional Director of Health in Kasserine, and Mr. Hatem El Ayadi, President of the “Olive Branch Network of Development Associations” in Sfax. This step aims to support local health initiatives and raise health awareness for the benefit of citizens.

In the same context, an agreement was signed to establish a dispensary in the Ghouira area, part of the Hassi El Frid delegation in Kasserine governorate. The network had previously had the honor of contributing to improving health services in Kasserine governorate by establishing an ophthalmology department at the regional hospital, funded and supported by the Al-Najat Charitable Association in Kuwait.

A dispensary is also currently being built in the Sidi Souheil area, in addition to a project to build a new dispensary in the Hassi El Frid delegation, with the aim of bringing health services closer to the residents of these areas and improving their access to healthcare.

This agreement represents a strategic and significant step towards achieving more comprehensive health coverage, and it highlights the importance of building medium- and long-term partnerships between the various parties involved. This partnership is expected to serve as a model for cooperation between civil society organizations and the public sector, contributing to supporting health services, strengthening decision-making, and providing healthcare to citizens, particularly in priority areas.
