Project to develop and construct three mountain water springs in the Siliana region
In support of the state’s efforts, and with the aim of combating the scarcity of potable water in rural areas, and to reduce the effects of the lack of rainfall and the unprecedented drought wave, the Olive Branch Network of Development Associations in Sfax recently built and prepared 3 mountain springs and converted them into potable water points in the rural areas of Makthar and Rouhia delegations, in the governorate of Siliana.
This was done in cooperation and coordination with the interests of the Regional Delegation for Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, and under the supervision of the Governor of Siliana, and the supervisory authority in the region.
This noble humanitarian project is funded and supported by the Kuwaiti Association for Civilizational Communication in the sisterly State of Kuwait.
Implemented by the Olive Branch Network for Development Associations in Sfax, this is a development project that falls within the network’s social development projects, which it pursues in its humanitarian work.
All thanks and appreciation to everyone who extended a helping hand to us, from the regional and local authorities in the Siliana region, so that we were able to implement this project, which represents a basic source of life for the residents of these areas, who were deprived of potable water.
We also extend our sincere thanks and deep respect for the continuous support and contributions you have made to the Kuwaiti Association for Cultural Communication.
