The Olive Branch Network in Sfax organizes a charity and health day for 270 orphans, along with the distribution of school bags.
In preparation for the 2025/2026 school year, the Ghosn Al-Zaytoun Network of Development Associations in Sfax launched the School Bag Project by organizing a charitable, recreational, and health-focused day for its sponsored orphaned students on Saturday, September 13, 2025, under the slogan: “With medical check-ups we protect our children, and with school bags we build our country.”
The event was held under the supervision of the Governorate of Sfax and in partnership with the Municipality of Sfax and the Regional Health Directorate, with support and funding from the Kuwaiti Zakat House, where about 270 orphaned children benefited from a school bag, in addition to an integrated recreational and entertainment program.
The day also included the organization of a health caravan supervised by a multi-specialty medical team (general medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, psychiatry), provided by the Regional Health Administration in Sfax, in an initiative aimed at checking on the health of children and supporting them psychologically and socially.
This initiative falls under the ongoing social programs implemented by the network in support of orphans, and to promote the values of social solidarity and investment in childhood and education.
