New hope for kidney patients… when giving meets humanity

The Olive Branch Network organized a medical convoy for patients with kidney failure, with support and funding from the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society of Kuwait. The convoy resulted in 23 successful surgeries to create arteriovenous fistulas for patients with limited income.

The project was carried out in coordination with the Regional Health Directorate of Sfax, under the supervision of Dr. Hatem Chérif, with Dr. Imed Frikha overseeing the medical aspects. Beneficiaries came from the governorates of Sfax, Gabès, Gafsa, Tozeur, and Kairouan, and were selected based on carefully reviewed medical files to ensure the support reached those who truly needed it.

The project helped enable patients to continue their dialysis sessions safely, easing the health, psychological, and financial burdens on them and their families. The network closed by thanking the supporting Kuwaiti body, as well as the medical and administrative staff who contributed to the success of the initiative, praying to God to grant the patients healing.
